FROM OUR FARM TO YOUR HOME

A lot goes on behind the scenes to get the meat from our farm to your doorstep. This is a quick outline of what happens after you place your order through our website.

  • 1 – Order confirmation

    Your order is received to the computer in the office.
    We do not print it for sustainability reasons.

  • 2 – MEAT PREPARATION

    Your meat is freshly prepared in the butchery.

  • 3 – ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

    All items are vacuum sealed and kept chilled until packaging. We use sheep’s wool for packaging which is one of the world’s best insulators – 100% recyclable and biodegradable.

  • 4 – KEEPING IT CHILLED

    The sheep’s wool liners are placed in a reusable/recyclable cardboard box with ice pack(s) to keep the temperature between 0 and 4 degrees.

  • 5 – THE PERSONAL TOUCH

    The food items are placed in the box with a personalised note thanking you for your order.

  • 6 – PERFECT TIMING

    The box is sealed and labeled with a DPD sticker. We do not pack the meat until 5pm to maintain the optimum temperature for delivery.

  • 7 – COURIER TRANSFER

    The box is transferred to the DPD depot 1 mile from our shop for overnight delivery.

  • 8 – DISPATCH CONFIRMATION

    You receive an email from us to say the parcel has been dispatched.

  • 9 – DELIVERY SCHEDULING

    You receive a text from DPD with the tracking number and scheduled delivery time. We ship Monday to Thursday (cut off 1pm on Thursday ) for next day delivery.  If we are unable to deliver the next day we will notify you by email or telephone.
